A Wonderful Afternoon Visit to the Helena May

A Wonderful Afternoon Visit to the Helena May – 18th March, 2019

On 18th March, 2019, the P.4 and P.5 students of our school in participated a heritage trip to the Helena May Historic House, which has been standing on Garden Road, in Central for nearly 100 years.

Many thanks to the hospitality of Mr Williamson, Mrs. Black and the staff of the Helena May. They gave us a guided tour in English around this declared monument. The most highlighted part of the trip was the English afternoon tea. During the trip, students learned the heritage of the Helena May House, the history of Hong Kong as it was once a colony of Great Britain and the architectural style of this historical building. The students also learned the proper English table manners and etiquette. All the students enjoyed their visit very much! So did their teacher escorts!
